SeaData uses as few cookies as possible. We have no advertising cookies, we place no tracking cookies of our own, and we use no analytics package that follows your behaviour across other websites. One part of the site does show a map provided by another party; what that party places is described below.

On the AIS tab we show a vessel traffic map provided by VesselFinder. That map is loaded directly by VesselFinder from their own server. In doing so VesselFinder sees your IP address and may place cookies or similar technologies that are outside our control. We do not pass any data about you to them ourselves. If you do not open the AIS tab, the map is not loaded. What VesselFinder does with your data is set out in their own privacy statement on vesselfinder.com.
Strictly necessary cookies do not require consent; without them logging in does not work. For the other cookies we ask your choice via the notice at the bottom of the screen. If you choose necessary cookies only, we will not place the others.
You can delete cookies at any time via your browser settings. If you delete the sd_cookie cookie, the notice will reappear and you can make a different choice.
